1. Create Your Very Own Sanctuary
Bedrooms and bathrooms are spaces designed for rest and relaxation and pampering yourself. Avoid overhead lighting and think about ambient lighting, such as bedside or floor lamps to set the mood. Clear clutter from these spaces and treat yourself to the best bed linens you can afford after all, we spend a lot of time in bed. Wake up fresh to a calm space.

2. Everyday Luxuries
The ultimate luxury to me is comfort. Your home should be comfortable and a place you want to relax and unwind, so think about a comfy sofa and somewhere to put your feet up. Also think about what is under your feet introduce soft rugs in your living spaces and plump cushions and throws.

3. Indoor Oasis
I love introducing plants indoors, potted or hanging. I can't get enough. Bringing the outdoors in brings nature to you. My favorites include Fiddle Leaf Figs, succulents, and all types of ferns. Plants last longer than flowers for those of you with a green thumb. If you don't know what type of plants to bring in, simply ask someone at your local nursery.

4. Mementos
Decorate with things you love and have a meaning. Display postcards, vacation purchases, or even print out your Instagram pictures. Collect mementos of your travels and decorate your space with them. It's all about using a personalized touch to customize your space.

5. Quick Fix
Treat yourself (you deserve it!) to fresh flowers from the market, luxurious bath products, scented candles and anything else that makes you feel good.

6. Hotel Chic
Take inspiration from your favorite hotel think about soothing color palettes, simple luxuries, fine materials, and beautiful mood lighting.

7. Materials
Think about all the materials in your home. I'm a big fan of incorporating different materials, such as woods, leather, linen, and wool. Think about everything that touches your skin, for example, use a beach towel instead of a bath towel for a little bit of everyday luxury.

8. Color Palette
Color has a huge impact on our space and our mood. Choose soothing blues, soft neutrals, crisp whites or cool pastels for your home. Decorate with whatever color makes you feel good.

9. Destination-Style Decorating
Embrace your favorite place in your space. Create a reminder of your travels on a sideboard, wall, or even your bedside table. Don't go too thematic, but use subtle motifs from your favorite vacation spots, such as a cactus, a surfboard, shells, or anchors.

10. Stripes and Pattern
Embrace pattern in your home. I love stripes for their nautical, vacation vibe, like holidays poolside in Palm Springs!
