Now, this is a rock. A classic emerald-cut, 100-carat diamond worth $19-$25 million will be up for grabs at Sotheby's in New York on April 21st. According to the Associated Press, the auction house is calling the stone a "perfect" diamond and says that it's "the only classic emerald-cut diamond of the highest color and clarity and over 100 carats to come into auction." Over the years, only five other diamonds with a similar carat-size and "perfect" qualities have been sold at auction.

"This 100.20-carat diamond is the definition of perfection. The color is whiter than white. It is free of any internal imperfections," Gary Schuler, head of the jewelry department at Sotheby's New York said.

For those interested, it's time to start counting your extra cash now and check out sothebys.com for more information on the auction.
